Description
This is a double CD and a live concert recording.
From the booklet:
In 1995 five Swedish musicians decied to start playing together. Theese early jams quickly turned int more serious rehersals as the group decided to learn the “Gohic Impressions” (Pärs first solo album) material for future live performances. Pär Lindh Project was born.
The bands first concerts were in Scandinavia in 1996. But it was not until 1997 when the album “Gothic Impressions” was elected one of the ten best progressive albums of all time in Argentina (along with groups like Yes, ELP, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield etc.) that got them their big break and the doors to play the world swung open.
All tracks was recorded at Progday in Chapel Hill North Carolina on September 6th 1998 except Allegro Barbaro and The Crimson Shield was recorded in Macaé Brasil on Dec 9th 1997.
At this festival PLP won the gallup polls for best group, best keyboardist and best drummer as well as ranking high overall.
